In the city of Buenos Aires, Tango started approximately in 1860, and became a portrait of Buenos Aires and its people. Its lyrics reflected the regrets and bitterness of European immigrants, who came in search of a new life to an unknown continent.

Buenos Aires is known worldwide for the Tango and the excellence of its musicians and dancers.

We are listing three different ways to experience Tango:

TANGO SHOWS

Tango is a passionate cultural expression of Buenos Aires and the best way to experience it is by attending to a tango show.

Starting with a car pickup service, you will be able to enjoy this fantastic dance, performed by professional dancers, wearing the traditional yet alluring tango dresses. Surrounded by a specially designed atmosphere, you will have the pleasure of listening to a live orchestra performing our most iconic Tango music; part of our cultural heritage and identity.

A 3-course dinner with a variety of dishes from local to international flavors, with local wine and beer is included. The combination of dinner and show lasts an hour and a half. You won’t have to worry about transportation, since drop off to the hotel is also included.

It is an unforgettable experience to share with family or friends.

-According to your preferences we can recommend you a selection of the more authentic tango houses with or without dinner.

-Pick up services starts at 8:00pm for an option with dinner or at 9:00pm for only the show experience.

For families with kids or who prefer early dinners there is also an option with pick up service at 6:30am.

A TANGO PRESENTATION AT POETRY ACCOMPANIED BY ARGENTINE WINE AND O’DOURVES

Once a week we host an exclusive event for our guests as an introduction to Tango, here at the Poetry Building.

Over the course of an hour and a half, a couple of professional dancers will teach you the basic dance steps in addition to an explanation of Tango’s history and codes within the dance, as well as an understanding of the Milonga in Buenos Aires. All of this takes place in an intimate, relaxed and fun environment, while you can enjoy a selection of Malbec from Argentine boutique wineries with cold meats, cheeses and soft drinks.

This is a unique way to live the tango as well of share a pleasant evening with other guests.

TANGO CLASSES

When you decide to bring tango to a different level, and make it part of your travel experience, you can choose this activity with a couple of professional teachers that will come to share their knowledge in the comfort of your apartment.
